How do you provide these services? Do you offer temporary or permanent therapists? Will the assigned therapist return for the following school year? Do you offer part time and full time therapists? How does CRA select qualified therapists for our staffing needs?
Q: What services do you provide?A: CRA provides educationally based special education services to public school districts, private institutions, and state schools across the country. Services include speech, occupational, and physical therapy, along with diagnosticians, sign language interpreters, and school psychologists. Our services include direct therapy as well as indirect services including pre-planning, post-planning, documentation, IEP meetings, and more.
Q: How do you provide these services? A: We provide qualified therapists and professionals that are trained, licensed, and certified to meet your school and state requirements. Direct and indirect services are contracted in accordance with your staffing needs and billed hourly.
Q: Do you offer temporary or permanent therapists? A: We offer school-based therapists based on the staffing needs of our school partners. While most of our schools anticipate placement for the entire length of the school year, approximately 36 weeks (or 9 months), some of our school partners may request a specific temporary need to cover maternity leaves, etc.
Q: Will the assigned therapist return for the following school year? A: Most of our therapists return to the same school district for the following year as requested and depending on your staffing needs.
Q: Do you offer part time and full time therapists? A: Yes, part time and full time therapists are available, with as little as a couple of hours per week up to 40 hours per week. Let us know what you need!
Q: Isn’t contracting professionals for special education services more expensive than our direct hire approach? A: No. You might be comparing our contract rate to your salary rate. However, this is not a true comparison or evaluation of cost. In fact, partnering with CRA for special education services will yield lower costs to your school district. Consider employer costs such as recruiting, payroll tax, liability and workers comp insurance, visa sponsorships, relocation assistance, administrative costs, and employee benefits including health/ dental, paid time off, 401k, bonuses, and continuing education support. When you assess the full picture, you gain insight into the savings available with CRA contract services.
Q: How does CRA select qualified therapists for our staffing needs? A: Our candidates are selected based on their experience and qualifications. Therapists are pre-screened before they are sent to you for an interview, for your review and approval. We perform education and employment verifications, as well as confirm any required licensures or certifications needed to provide services in your state and/or school. Once you have approved the candidate for placement in your district, we will perform necessary drug screenings and background checks to include federal and criminal records.
