Q:  Are there positions available in my area?

A:  We currently work with school partners throughout the U.S., everywhere from Seattle to Miami.  Please contact us to find out if we have a school-based position in your area.  Or let us know if you’re willing to relocate.

Q:  Will I work for the school district or CRA?

A:  You will work for CRA and receive an assignment to work with one of our school partners.  This provides you with an opportunity to make a higher rate of pay in comparison to the salaries offered by district direct hires.

Q:  Will I be an independent contractor or an employee?

A:  As an employee of CRA, you will  take advantage of our exceptional employee benefits (full-time only).  Your benefits, payroll, and taxes are administered through CRA as an employee.

Q:  Do you offer temporary or permanent positions?

A:   We offer school-based positions based on the staffing needs of our school partners.  While most of our schools anticipate placement for the entire length of the school year, approximately 36 weeks (or 9 months), some of our school partners may request a specific temporary need to cover maternity leaves, etc.

Q:  Will my position be renewed for the following school year?

A:  Most of our therapists return to the same school district for the following year as requested and depending on their staffing needs.  If a position is no longer available, CRA will make every effort to offer you another school-based opportunity with another school partner in the same geographic area, no more than an hour away.

Q:  Do you offer part time and full time positions?

A:  Yes, both part time and full time positions are available.  Full time positions can range from 28 to 40 hours and 4 to 5 days per week.  Anything less than 28 hours per week is considered part time, and may be as little as a couple of hours per week.

Q:  What employee benefits do you offer?

A:  We certainly take care of our employees!  Please take a look at the list of benefits offered to our full time employees.  (click here)

Q:  When does the health insurance coverage become effective?

A:   Health insurance coverage is available for full time employees for individual, spouse or family participation the first day of the month following the employee’s start date.

Q:  What happens during school holidays, including winter, spring, and summer breaks?

A:  You’ll have the summer and school holidays off to enjoy with friends and family!  School holidays, in which schools are closed, are unpaid.  CRA employees are welcome to use their PTO for this time.  Employees can also opt to participate in our 12-month Payroll, in which their paychecks are disbursed year-round (including winter and summer breaks).

Q:  Do you cover continuing education costs?

A:   We provide continuing education support for our full-time employees through our annual stipend.  You may include your CE registry fee or CEU costs in your offered stipend for reimbursement.

Q:  How does CRA manage and communicate with employees throughout the country?

A:  While our corporate offices are located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, we are in constant communication with our employees, staffed at locations all over the U.S.  You may call our office during business hours to speak directly with our office staff: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm EST.  We also maintain a response time of no more than 4 hours.

Q:  I’m interested in a career with CRA!  Where do I go from here?

A:  Please complete the online application and upload your resume for review.  We’ll evaluate your qualifications and contact you to schedule an interview with the CRA school partner you’re interested in. (click here)
